Antigua and Barbuda’s CIU department issues first batch of citizenship approvals from Ajman Uptown project
Ajman Uptown is the first project of its kind in GCC to offer citizenship eligibility for twin-island nation
Sweet Homes Holdings (SHH), a leading UAE-based developer and multi-service provider to the real estate sector, has announced that 15 residents of the Ajman Uptown project have been approved for citizenship in the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda by its local Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU). The approval came after the government agency performed due diligence and review on the 15 family members . Ajman Uptown is the first-of-its-kind project in the GCC region that offers investors citizenship to a foreign country.
Fahad Sattar Dero, Managing Director, SHH, said, “We are very delighted to announce the receipt of Approvals for Citizenship. At first, people were skeptical with the initial launch of our offered Citizenship Program but the dedicated hard work and untiring efforts of our team made it possible. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters.”
(Name), General Manager, SHH, shared, “Now that we have fulfilled the promise we gave to our clients, I am happy to reveal that our mission is accomplished. Sweet Homes is the only private developer in Ajman that is currently handing over 1,300 dwelling units to its buyers. “Being eligible for citizenship means they can explore many opportunities within this thriving twin-nation and maybe even invest and set-up their own businesses there—the possibilities are endless for these new citizens of Antigua and Barbuda. Rest assured that we will remain steadfast in our commitment to render our services in the real estate industry and play a pivotal role in both the UAE and this emerging twin-nation.”
Kussay Li Al Sheikh, a Palestinian national and Ajman Uptown investor, initially did not believe in the citizenship offer. “I am really thankful that SHH was able to manage the citizenship approval immediately. I strongly recommend this program as it is the best budget immigration package with a townhouse.” Other nationalities that received approval for citizenship were Jordanians and Syrians.
Located right in the heart of the emirate, Ajman Uptown measures at four million square feet and will offer two, three and four-bedroom townhouses and exclusively designed five-bedroom VIP villas. The project takes on an overall concept and design based on classic French architecture and prominently showcases an ‘L’ Art De Vivre’ theme. The master development will house a school, a healthcare centre, a fire fighting station, two mosques, a health and recreation club, a swimming pool, markets, shopping mall, hotel and hotel apartments, and convenient and spacious parks apart from the luxury apartments and boutique offices.
